White Goose Down Duvet
All duvets are generally white in colour. However, the filling can be of different colour and can be made up of both natural and synthetic materials. If you want the best duvet then you should look for a filling which is only made up of white goose down filling.
White goose down is the best type of down available as the filling is so light and airy yet exceptionally warm which is just what you need from one of the most luxurious types of fillers. One of the key things that will goose down will not do is clump up. Most duvets have been created in such a way that the duvets have individual cells which are used to ‘house’ the goose down. The individual cells allow the goose down to float around but a the same time retain their natural shape. Most importantly, this ensures that the goose down does not clump together which allows the duvet to retain its shape.
When looking for a duvet with white goose down, you should always go for the one which has the highest concentration of down as possible. There are some retailers who sell goose down duvets at a cheap price, however, the filling of the products is suspect. Ensure you look at the filling before you make a purchase. This isn’t to say that any duvets with a higher concentration of small feathers is bad. This just means that the weight of the duvet is a little heavier than a duvet which is solely goose down.
There are a number of retailers out there that that sell white goose down duvets. These include Duvet and Pillow Warehouse, House of Fraser, Debenhams, Wallace Sacks, Tesco Direct and Sainsburys.
